linguistic terrorism

"She is getting too close to the mouth of the abyss. She is teetering on the edge, trying to balance while she makes up her mind whether to jump in or to find a safer way down. That's why she makes herself sick-- to postpone having to jump blindfolded into the abyss of her own being and there in the depths confront her face, the face underneath the mask."

My advice to you is to not attach yourself to anything. I do not say this bitterly. Love everything, but attach yourself to nothing. Let everything live and follow it's own course, cycle, and death. Control only your own path while reserving the capability to let go of that control.
But hopefully you don't need my advice and the river spirit(or whatever)is in your heart, not just in a book on your shelf.
